Eddie and Bingo Signing Event

Happy 4th of July from Inkwater Press!  We hope that everyone has fun plans.

Two of our authors, Katherine & Kathleen Taylor, are celebrating by having a book reading and signing event from 2–4 p.m. at Kids Club Outlet Store, in Thousand Oaks, California.

Their book, Eddie and Bingo: A Friendship Tale, tells the true story of Eddie and his buddies aboard a U.S. Navy aircraft carrier during World War II. As they cruise the Pacific Ocean they learn how important teamwork and friendships really are, especially when they meet Bingo, a precocious puppy!

Belle of the Brawl Featured in the San Gabriel Valley Tribune

Gary Best’s Belle of the Brawl: Letters Home From a B-17 Bombardier received a write-up in the San Gabriel Valley Tribune that focused on the story behind this book. Belle of the Brawl mixes Fred Lull’s letters home to his mother with interviews from his fellow B-17 crew members. The article on how Best received Lull’s letters is an interesting story, and you can read it on the newspaper’s website here.
