" DALE G. LARSON, PH.D.
Author, The Helper's Journey: Working with People Facing Grief, Loss, and Life-Threatening Illness

In her first book, Dawning of a New Day: A Journey out of Darkness: Life Lessons to Help you Through Grief, Dr. DeLeon magically walks us through her "journey" of grief with a book that tells her story. Now with this superb collection of strategies, activities and exercises, this new book, New Day: Grief Recovery Workbook can help us self-reflect, increase awareness and somehow go on through the darkness of grief and loss. This collection is invaluable for grievers and helping professionals alike.

" MELODY KINNEY
LCSW, Director Social Services Good Samaritan Hospital

Through her personal insights and firsthand experience, Dr. DeLeon does a thorough job of describing the journey through grief after loss. Those in similar circumstances will find confirmation and hope in these pages, as well as very practical and helpful exercises that bring meaning to the suffering.

" DR. LORI PASION-GONZALES, PHD
