Edge of Freedom Book Tour

 

John Willingham’s,  The Edge of Freedom, a fact-based novel on the Texas Revolution, is available this month, coinciding with both  Texas History month and the 175th anniversary of the Texas Revolution. 

Willingham’s book tour begins with a book signing on March 10 and culminates with a speaking engagement at Presidio La Bahia as a featured guest author. For more details on the book visit: www.edgeoffreedom.net.

River Oaks Book Store,  Houston, signing and wine, 5 to 7 p.m., Thursday, March 10.

The Village Downtown, Bryan, signing and discussion, 6 to 8 p.m.,  Friday, March 11.

Hill Country Book Store, Georgetown, on the square from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.,  Saturday, March 12.

Barnes & Noble store in Waco between noon and 2 p.m. on Thursday, March 17.

The Twig Bookstore in San Antonio on Saturday, March 19, the 175th anniversary of the battle at Coleto Creek, near Goliad, which is a major event in The Edge of Freedom. A signing and reading will be held from noon until 2 p.m.

BookPeople in Austin at 7 p.m on Monday, March 21.

Guest Author on March 26-27 at Presidio La Bahia: as part of the 26th Annual Goliad Massacre – Fort Defiance Living History Program. A recreation of the occupation of the fort by Col. Fannin and the Goliad Massacre. The only event of its kind in the State of Texas.
