Rosemary Anderson Taggart, a native of California, attended the Academy of the Holy Names, majoring in Art and English. She also studied at the Otis Art Institute of Los Angeles and the Minneapolis School of Fine Arts, is the mother of five children, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is the author of Josie and Her Iron Horses, a book that tells the story of her mother, Josephine Duncan Anderson, first woman in the United States to receive her thoroughbred trainer's license. She is currently collaborating with two of her artist grand-daughters on an art book called, Three Artists One Family. This will include seventy years of Taggart's artwork, as well as the artwork and photography of her grand-daughters, Teresa Nicole Landry and Nina Landry Leung. They have also established a website for their artwork, www.3artists1family.com Rosemary resides in Long Beach, California.
